Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026.
The team is based in three locations: the power unit is developed by Audi Formula Racing GmbH at the Audi Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg, Germany; the chassis is engineered and race operations are managed from the state-of-the-art facilities of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland; while the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester, United Kingdom, provides a foothold in the heart of 'Motorsport Valley', with direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners.

Your mission
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in Mechanical Design Engineering within the Aero Design Mechanical and R&D Design Group who are responsible for the mechanical structure of the 60% scale Wind Tunnel models and the Wind Tunnel infrastructure. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real projects that make an impact.
- Supporting day-to-day activities within the Aero Design, Mechanical and R&D Group designing mechanical components or complete mechanical units, create technical drawings with ISO GPS standard.
- Assisting on updates of structural Wind Tunnel model parts or development projects
- Conducting research, analysis, or data entry as required
- Collaborating with team members and attending meetings
- Presenting findings or contributing to reports
- Learning and applying new skills relevant to the role
Your profile
- Currently studying towards or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of MS-Office, Quality, Risk and Product lifecycle Management methods (FMEA, 5Why’s,…)
- Proficient in 3DEXPERIENCE or Catia V5/V6 (Solid and Surface)
- Knowledge of form and fit tolerancing and ISO GPS
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and methods
- Hands on experience (turning, milling, welding, etc.) is advantageous
- 1 year experience in a design related role within Formula Student (or similar) team
- Strong interest in Motorsport and developing innovative engineering solutions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
