We are the Audi Revolut F1® Team.

Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026.

The team is based in three locations: the power unit is developed by Audi Formula Racing GmbH at the Audi Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg, Germany; the chassis is engineered and race operations are managed from the state-of-the-art facilities of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland; while the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester, United Kingdom, provides a foothold in the heart of 'Motorsport Valley', with direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners.

What you need? The mindset of an athlete. If you are someone for whom giving up isn’t an option and limits are just something to be overcome, you can bring Vorsprung durch Technik to Formula 1 with us. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history.

This position for the Audi Revolut F1® Team is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

  • Work closely with other aerodynamicists, CFD engineers and aerodynamic designers to translate ideas into robust aerodynamic solutions.
  • Analyse CFD and wind tunnel results to deepen flow understanding and guide future development directions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced aerodynamicists, supporting their development and helping to strengthen the department's technical capability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of aerodynamic methodologies, tools and processes.

Your profile

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with a strong focus on aerodynamics or fluid mechanics.
  • Demonstrated experience in race car aerodynamic development, with exposure to multiple areas of the vehicle and a broad understanding of aerodynamic interactions.
  • Proven ability to generate, evaluate and mature aerodynamic concepts from initial ideas through to validated solutions.
  • Good understanding of CFD methodologies, wind tunnel testing techniques and aerodynamic validation processes.
  • Proficiency with aerodynamic analysis tools and CAD environments, preferably CATIA 3DX.
  • Strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to support and develop more junior colleagues through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Curious, self-motivated and performance-driven, with a willingness to challenge assumptions and promote technical excellence.
