Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026.
The team is based in three locations: the power unit is developed by Audi Formula Racing GmbH at the Audi Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg, Germany; the chassis is engineered and race operations are managed from the state-of-the-art facilities of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland; while the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester, United Kingdom, provides a foothold in the heart of 'Motorsport Valley', with direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners.

Your mission
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in Formula 1 R&D. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real projects that make an impact.
- Supporting day-to-day activities within the team including simulation and analysis, CAD modelling of components, assemblies and technical drawings
- Assisting in the creation of engineering models: mechanical, fluid, thermal, etc.
- Conducting research on component and system test methods
- Data analysis, test interrogation and reporting
- Opportunities to attend and observe R&D tests
- Collaborating with team members and attending meetings
- Presenting findings or contributing to reports
- Learning and applying new skills relevant to the role
Your profile
- Currently studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.
- Experience in Formula Student or similar is advantageous
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and methods
- Experience in metallic and non-metallic manufacturing methods, including additive manufacturing
- Proficient in CAD (3DEXPERIENCE or Catia V5/V6 are an advantage)
- Knowledge of system modelling & simulation tools such as FEA, MATLAB and Python
- Strong interest in Research & Development
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
